Job summary

We are looking for an individual who has experience as a nurse in the field of Cardiology, enthusiastic and innovative person with proven leadership capabilities to join our exceptional team.

Cardiology is fast paced and is on the cutting edge of technology, providing excellent cardiology experience for staff caring for patients undergoing cardiology procedures: angiograms, angioplasty, ablations, cardiac devices and various cardiac valve related procedures.

Main duties of the job

The nursing dependency of the patients is diverse with direct transfers from the regional general hospitals and emergency pathways running through our department and as such is dependent on the clinical skills of trained and motivated nurses.

We have a superb and supportive team of dedicated nurses and support staff. Our staff are focused on providing the highest standards of patient care and we are keen to recruit staff to join our team who will share our vision, enthusiasm, and pride in the care we deliver.

Development opportunities at Royal Papworth Hospital are first class, with a supportive orientation programme following trust induction. There are specialist in-house study days and courses, including leadership courses, as well as close links to Anglia Ruskin University for post registration courses

  • Teaching and assessment qualification or equivalent
