Job summary

We are looking for a highly motived and friendly individual to join our team. You will need to be able to demonstrate you can work as a team as well as on your own initiative and you must have excellent communication skills. You should enjoy working in a busy environment where your role is varied and you will need to be able to flex according to clinical demand.

You will be working alongside the nursing team to ensure the clinical environment is clean and safe for our patients. You will responsible for cleaning equipment used in the ward area and assisting the nursing team in the preparation of the bed areas.

Main duties of the job

The role will also involve helping the team support over 1500 patients who are on home ventilation and whose equipment needs servicing and repair. Training will be given so that you can troubleshoot some technical issues but you will also work closely with Technical support services to ensure technical problems are resolved and the servicing of this equipment is maintained. Stock management will also be required to ensure adequate supply of ventilation equipment is maintained.
