Job summary
Join our outstanding team at the UK's leading heart and lung hospital. We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our informatics officer team to support our digital transformation and adoption of new technologies.
The postholder will work closely with our Chief Information Officer and existing Information Officers to align clinical and technical priorities, whilst reporting to the Deputy Chief Nurse. Excellent communication skills are essential to engage stakeholders across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
- Provide expertise to ensure digital systems meet clinical requirements
- Support implementation of new technologies
- Facilitate clinical engagement in major IT projects
- Collaborate with IT project managers and technical experts
- Develop testing schedules and risk assessments for new systems
- Analyse issues raised by users and advise on solutions
- Contribute to planning of reporting tools to support safety and priorities
