Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking for a new direction and challenge?
We are currently looking to employ a Medical Devices Assistant to help clean and maintain the various types of equipment used in our very busy theatre and operating department. The successful applicant will also provide an invaluable service supporting qualified professionals by providing high standards of equipment upkeep, ensuring it is not only kept safely but is stored neatly in preparation for use. On occasion the transfer of patients to and from theatres will be required.

Main duties of the job
Duties include:
*Checking and maintaining medical gas cylinders
*Cleaning of equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines
*Monitoring for annual servicing of theatre equipment
*Movement of the theatre equipment to Clinical Engineering (CE)
*Reporting any equipment faults to CE
*Maintain records for specialist equipment
*Escorting patients to and from Theatres
