Job summary

There are full and part time positions available with Clinical Administration at Royal Papworth Hospital based within the Admin Hub in Huntingdon.

This role will include booking of inpatient and outpatient clinic appointment, telephone contact with a wide range of patients., working with a variety of software packages.

You will need experience of dealing with competing and challenging deadlines within a fast-paced Booking Team. You should have a good understanding of RTT and patient pathways. You should be able to work with key stakeholders to help drive service improvements within clinical administration and possess excellent communication skills.

Main duties of the job

This is a great opportunity to work in a role where you can make a real difference to the delivery of patient care whilst working within a supportive team with training provided to meet the demands of the role.

Ideally, candidates should have:

*High level of organisational skills

*Excellent communication skills with direct patient contact

*Keyboard skills and knowledge of the Microsoft suite

*The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration or Customer Care or equivalent experience
