Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our nursing team, this diverse position involves supporting patients through a telephone helpline as well as supporting the Clinical Administrator in producing nursing rosters and other administrative duties. Main duties of the job
We are looking for an individual who can work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be empathetic and will be able to troubleshoot problems through a patient helpline and where needed refer the patient to other members of the MDT.
You will work closely with the senior nursing team and in the absence of the Clinical administration will be responsible in ensuring that the ward is adequately staffed with the appropriate skill mix. You must have the ability to be reactive and problem solve when dealing with short notice staffing issues.
You will be responsible for the stock management of ventilators and interfaces and other items not managed by the procurement department. You will need to be able to liaise confidently with other outside agencies. To have experience of Microsoft excel, electronic systems & electronic rostering systems would be advantageous.
