Job summary

The Learning Disability and Neurodiversity Co-Ordinator isresponsible for the planning,implementation and monitoring of a range of Learning Disability & Neurodiversity initiatives designed to achieve the Trust's ambition to improve service delivery for people with a Learning Disability and those who are Neurodiverse. This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave, and the successful applicant will build on the existing work such as supporting the delivery and evaluation of our staff training package and developing the work of our LD&N Champions. As well as supporting the work within YAS, as a regional provider there are multiple stakeholders across the ICBs, local statutory services and VCSE partners, as well as national organisations.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support Learning Disability and Neurodiversity initiatives and projects, ensuring that they are delivered to time, within budget and other tolerances.The post holder will provide advice, leadership and clear direction to other junior members of the team in collaboration with the Lead Nurse. Organising project planning, task and finish and progress meetings, creating agendas and ensuring accurate minutes of meetings.Assuring the production of accurate and well-structured project documentation (incl. Project Brief, Project Initiation Document, Project Plans, End Stage Reports etc.) in line with PRINCE2 and Trust guidelines.Overseeing project communication to ensure team members understand their roles and tasks, and key stakeholders are kept informed of project progress
