Working as a Clinical Quality Auditor within the Remote Care IUC (Integrated Urgent Care) setting, you will be key to improving quality and supporting staff development.

The role will require you to support IUC (NHS111) staff to practice safely and effectively, to meet the standards required by the Trust and the appropriate regulatory bodies through audit of the calls taken with in the contact centre.

The successful candidate will join an already skilled and efficient team who work closely together to ensure we meet the quality assurance and improvement needs of the Remote Care Team, including supporting the Quality and Governance Team.

To support with business needs the successful candidates must be able to be flexible in their working hours to attend regular mandatory audit calibration, attend team meetings, develop staff, and provide resilience to the role of Remote Care staff.

Please note that this role requires a standard DBS check to be taken.

Main duties of the job

The primary purpose of an IUC Clinical Quality Auditor is to objectively and consistently measure performance of the IUC Clinicians. They are responsible for the quality assurance of all Clinicians, ensuring that high standards and professionalism is maintained.

IUC Clinical Quality Auditors are responsible for completing quality assurance case reviews and creating standard reports using audit tool software, ensuring that the call is handled in the correct way in line with the regulatory bodies and Trust standards, processes and procedures.

The IUC Clinical Quality Auditor must support IUC Clinicians to practice safely and effectively, and meet the standards required by the Trust and the appropriate regulatory bodies by carrying out regular assessment and evaluation processes.

  • Registered Nurse (level 1) or Registered Paramedic (HCP) with 3 years post registration experience

Desirable

  • Hold NHS Pathway or PaCCS licence
