Job summary
The post holder will work remotely and has responsibility for providing business analysis, populational health and technical SQL/PowerBI/Advanced Analytics support to ensure operational managers are fully aware of local intelligence and equipped to manage the business dynamics within the service area. You will have a range of significant technical skills including advanced analytical techniques and supporting technical skills such as SQL, PowerBI, and one advanced statistical code/programming software with experience.
They must have experience of working with working on their own initiative, working with large datasets, data warehouses and have the ability to communicate well across different teams.
Must have experience of working with large and complex datasets, experience, and knowledge of working with populational and public health data would be advantageous.
Main duties of the job
- Provide and share with the wider Digital team advanced technical and reporting/analysis skills.
- The ability to adopt a programming language for the use of advanced analytics in BI working practice.
- The ability to code from at least one core advanced analytics software and understand its implications.
- Design and execute the test scenarios and test SQL scripts.
- Lead specific Trust projects specifically associated with improving performance through the use of intelligent information across all service lines within the Trust.
- Investigate complex requirements; provide assistance and advice as required on all information issues.
- Responsible for tracking data, extracting, and analysing data produced and make recommendations for service improvements.
- Provide advice and technical support to the Business Intelligence Team
- Link external datasets and analyse own Organisation in the context of the place within the wider NHS or system.
