Job summary

Due to promotion of the current post holder, we are seeking to recruit a Coordinator for the recently created Nursing and Patient Experience Team.

The Nursing and Patient Experience Team Coordinator will work as part of a dynamic team responsible for delivery of the Trusts Nursing and Patient Experience Portfolio, which includes Nurse leadership, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity, Patient Relations and Patient Experience.

Working closely with the Head of Nursing and Patient Experience, Specialist Development Nurse - MH and Patient Relations Manager the post holder will supporting the coordination of key deliverables for the team and projects ensuring that timescales, objectives, benefits and outcomes are achieved.

Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive coordination and project management support to the Head of Nursing and Patient Experience and the wider Nursing and Patient Experience Team.

Make informed decisions within area and remit of responsibility ensuring that agreed standards and targets are met in accordance with Team, Directorate, Trust and National standards, policies and procedures.

Develop, implement and monitor systems and processes regarding communication of information to YAS staff and external stakeholders.

Support the management and implementation of projects and programmes for the Nursing and Patient Experience Team.

Produce high quality reports and documentation on behalf of the Head of Nursing and Patient Experience Team and quality assure documents produced by the Nursing and Patient Experience Team.

Provide line management for the Nursing and Patient Experience Team administrator.

  • Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent work-based experience in a large public organisation
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

Desirable

  • Possess a professional project management qualification or have knowledge of a formal project management method

  • A high level of leadership, communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed ability to interpret, monitor and evaluate information.
  • The ability to develop, implement and maintain effective administrative and reporting procedures

  • Experience of working in a large organisation as a coordinator of a department / section

  • A sound understanding of Ambulance Service key priorities and the governance arrangements underpinning their delivery.
