Job summary
The People and Organisational Design Directorate has an exciting immediate opportunity for a HR Project Officer to join us and support the delivery of a short term project to centralise access to workplace adjustments for staff. Through this we aim to improve staff experience and improve retention. Working with Trust wide stake holders including finance, procurement and staff networks the successful post holder will quickly build credible relationships across the organisation to co deliver the mobilisation of this project and enable the longer term success.

Due to the timescales of this project this role is expected to commence from 1st December 2023 or very shortly afterwards and will end on 31 March 2024.
Interviews are expected to be held on Friday 17th November or Monday 20th November 2023.
Main duties of the job
As the successful applicant your role will be to use problem solving, reassurance and influencing skills to enable, deliver and embed change. The post holder will undertake project work using project planning principles, robust governance, effective communication, and efficient administrative skills.
The role will act as point of contact for specific projects/ work streams, dealing with and responding effectively to complex queries from stakeholders, passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
As the project progresses and new systems are embedded the post holder will promote the project and support new processes being embedded through delivery of training and awareness sessions.

YAS is a large and complex organisation so experience of a similar environment would be advantageous. NHS experience would be useful but is not essential and HR practitioners from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Experience of working with trade unions is essential.

Trust wide travel will be needed occasionally. We take a hybrid working approach with a mix of home and office-based time.
