Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is now recruiting for a Risk & Assurance Coordinator. On joining the team, you will work closely with the Risk and Assurance Manager to support risk management and document assurance arrangements within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

  • Support Risk Leads with the reporting and managing of risks within Datix.
  • Produce reports and analyse data with regards to risks recorded on the Trust's Corporate Risk Register.
  • Support the Risk and Assurance Manager in conducting audits to ensure assurance of effective Risk Management.
  • Maintain inboxes for Risk Management and Procedural Documents as the initial point of contact.
  • Co-ordinate the review and approvals of Procedural Documents with document owners.
  • Maintain the internal and external documents library where Procedural Documents are published.

  • The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • The ability to develop, implement and maintain effective administrative and reporting procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, working in a challenging environment to achieve demanding and/or conflicting deadlines.
  • Competent and proficient in the use and application of Computer programmes specifically MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc).
  • Previous experience of working with data management systems (e.g. Share Point, Datix).
  • Knowledge of risk and assurance processes.
  • Evidence of on-going professional development.
  • Experience in the preparation of general correspondence and management reports.
  • Experience of working in a large organisation as a coordinator of a department / section.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
