Job summary

Clinical Informatics and Audit team have an exciting opportunity for an audit assistant to join the team. We support flexible home working and the opportunity to use our offices.

You will be supporting the delivery of the trusts clinical audit programme and national clinical quality indicators. The successful candidate will be an integral part of auditing patient records on a daily basis and carrying out data input. You have to be able to understand text well and be confident in using MS Excel. You will be part of a dynamic team that carries out an essential role in the trust providing oversight of clinical compliance, performance and best practice care.

Main duties of the job

  • Supporting the delivery of the trusts clinical audit programme and provide clinical data under the supervision of the CIA facilitator and the CIA manager.
  • Assistance in compiling audit results into report format.
  • Support and facilitate internal and external clinical audit data requests from members of staff
  • Undertake general office duties
  • Support the processing of clinical records where required e.g. locating records, sorting, scanning and verifying.
