Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academy Administrator within Yorkshire Ambulance Service Academy to work closely with the Academy's Education team.
The post is a fixed term post until March 2023.
YAS Academy delivers and supports the education and development activities to approx. 5,000 staff and 1,300 volunteers across the four different YAS Academy training sites.
To enable us to meet the future needs for our services we are seeking a passionate and inspirational colleague who has the relevant experience and capabilities to deliver outstanding performance, and who is able to contribute to the development requirements of the department and the organisation as a whole.
We are looking to appoint an Academy Administrator who will act as the first point of contact for a range of education and learning activities and will undertake all administrative processes relating to the delivery of a professional, customer focused education and learning service for the Trust.
Main duties of the job

The Academy Administrator will act as first point of contact for a range of education and learning activities. The post holder will undertake all administrative processes relating to the delivery of a professional, customer focused Education and Learning service for the Trust.
They will support the production of timely and accurate workforce/performance information.
Liaise with key stakeholders in order to deliver the key requirements and objectives.
Communicate with key departments to ensure a streamlined and professional approach.
The Academy Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining stock levels and the procuring of consumables and equipment as necessary.
The post holder must be an effective communicator an be able to receive and send information effectively to the correct department. Assist in the production of presentation material, learning packs and course programmes, making adjustments to plans where required.
It is important that the successful candidate can work independently and also be part of a very busy team, as well as be able to apply critical thinking skills and generate ideas and solutions whilst adhering to the agreed processes and standards of delivery to ensure that the department meets the required targets.
