Job summary

We are seeking experienced technology-enhanced/digital learning developers with proven skills in developing engaging, high-quality multimedia, eLearning, and interactive online resources to support the educational needs of our staff. You will work closely with our educators and subject experts to develop a range of solutions that will enrich and sustain the delivery of learning within YAS. You will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the Trusts learning management systems (LMS) and virtual learning environments (VLE), including ESR and Totara.

We are recruiting for two posts; one permanent, and one 12-months fixed term to support the increasing demands for distance learning and online learning resources.

Main duties of the job

Develop and support a range of technology enhanced learning solutions that will enrich, modernise and sustain the delivery of learning within YAS.

Collaborate with educators and subject experts to develop interactive learning elements and assessments to support a blended learning approach.

Support the development and maintenance of the Trusts learning management systems (LMS) and virtual learning environments (VLE) including design, implementation, reporting and end user support.

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the design, development and evaluation of online learning resources, including instructional design principles
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the core technologies of LMS and VLE
