An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Management Team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as a Deputy Chief Pharmacy Technician.This newly created Band 7 role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of pharmacy technician and assistant workforce service provision across the Trust. Professionally and operationally responsible for a team of staff, the successful candidate will provide leadership and support to this vital staff group across all LYPFT sites.We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking individual with strong leadership abilities, excellent operational insight into hospital pharmacy services, and a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the pharmacy workforce.This role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, alongside expert knowledge of clinical ward services. Relevant experience and strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential.You will play a key role in quality improvement initiatives, drive service development, and contribute to the implementation of cost-saving measures, including collaborative work with partners in Leeds and York.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country.
