The post is part of the Healthy Living Service within Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust, which focusses on improving the physical health of service users across a number of mental health services in the trust.
Working alongside staff on a range of mental health inpatient wards, you will work with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent care to service users with mental health needs. There will also beopportunities for independent working and team working. You will receive clinical supervision, anindividual development plan and opportunities for skill development.

Main duties of the job
Working as a specialist physiotherapist within MDTs across services, providing coordinated rehabilitation and condition management as part of service users recovery.
To provide specialist holistic and physiotherapeutic assessment and advice/treatment of service users with diverse and complex physical, cognitive, psychological and neurological presentations in a variety of settings. To develop and deliver individualised treatment programmes.
To provide physiotherapy advice and support to other professions within the wider multidisciplinary team and external agencies.
To act as a clinical resource, problem solving issues relating to care of the service users.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties, which are within your scope of practice, as an autonomous practitioner within the Healthy Living Service.
To hold responsibility for own caseload working without direct supervision. Supervision takes the form of regular 1:1 clinical and managerial sessions, formal training, clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences and multi-disciplinary team discussion. Actively participate in and provide clinical supervision to other team members.
