Job summary
A temporary 6 month secondment post is now available for a band 4 Team Co-ordinator to lead the administration team within the Single Point of Access/Switchboard based at the Becklin Centre. The role requires critical thinking, high-level organisation and efficient time management, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate support service demands.
While the role has a permanent base, some flexibility in cross-working and communication with colleagues at other LYPFT sites is expected.
You will co-ordinate and line manage a team of administration staff providing a comprehensive, efficient and effective secretarial support service to the multi-disciplinary teams under the direction of a Service Manager and supported by an agreed work plan. The job holder will provide day to day supervision and support for a designated admin team or teams and will be responsible for liaison with other clinical and admin staff within Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to ensure an efficient and consistent admin support service is provided.
Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities include:
Providing supportive and encouraging line management responsibility for Administrators and Secretaries in the team
Exemplary Service User-focused, patient-centred interaction and communication
Proficient use and navigation of CareDirector and other systems such as BigHand, E-Proc, TRACJobs, Cognos and HealthRoster (training is provided)
Support and coordination of a busy and streamlined referrals process
Allocating shifts and ensuring cover 24/7.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
