We are now looking for a dynamic, innovative & passionate Clinical Team Manager to work within the Leeds Community Perinatal Mental Health Team.
The Leeds Community Perinatal Mental Health Team provides community support across the whole of Leeds for mothers suffering from moderate to severe mental illness in the perinatal period, to prevent further deterioration and admission to hospital. The service provides a range of care packages for women experiencing a mental illness in pregnancy and up to 2 years postnatally. This includes, though is not limited to, a specialist holistic assessment of need for mother and infant, group work, tailored 1:1 therapies and advice to a range of professionals on the care and management of women suffering from a significant mental illness or at risk of developing a significant mental illness in the perinatal period. We often work very intensively with mothers at time when their need is very acute. Some of our families have very complex social circumstances and this needs sensitive handling alongside the management of the mental illness and the ongoing safeguarding of mother and infant.
