An exciting and brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Business Administration and Audit Remediation Officer to join the NHS Workforce Alliance. The role is hosted by the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative but is responsible to all five Alliance partners and will report on a day-to-day basis to CCS on behalf of NHS Workforce Alliance. The role will involve a mix of office-based and home working, with occasional travel required for off-site meetings and training.
Main duties of the job
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Deal with complex enquiries about a range of topics relating to the NHSWA audits
- Draft and produce accurate documentation within tight timescales and involving complex and/or sensitive material including:
- audit outcome reports
- Supplier remedial action reports and responses
- NHSWA audit tracking reports and systems
- Manage and improve NHSWA systems and relationships to support collaborative management of audit remedial activity
- Monitor and administer contractual arrangements and payment of audit related invoices
- Develop specialist knowledge of aspects of NHSWA audit policies and procedures and audit governance related matters.
- Supporting the planning and scheduling of health assurance audits
- Support key stakeholders in dealing with difficult audit / supplier issues and complex queries
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the NHS.The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strong personal skills, and relevant experience in either business administration or audit administration. You will also be an excellent communicator, have a strong customer focused ethos, and flexibility and initiative in working in a complex and fast-moving environment. Specific experience in the NHS or in a commercial function is advantageous but not required if other relevant experience can be demonstrated.
