Job summary

North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) is hosted by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) and provides collaborative and bespoke procurement solutions to the public sector. We have a vacancy for a Data Specialist, working on NHS procurement data in the business intelligence department of the Technical Services team.

Main duties of the job

As Data Specialist within the Technical Project Office you will need to:

  • Be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with experience in SQL and Microsoft Power BI
  • Understand how to analyse, cleanse, compare and assess data from a broad variety of different sources
  • Understand how to visualize spend data for non-specialist audiences, highlighting actionable insight
  • Work as part of a team of data specialists developing new dashboards, reports, outputs and insights for the business and our stakeholders
  • Provide data and information knowledge to project groups and teams within the business
  • Align with one or more of the NOECPC business teams, gaining domain knowledge specific to those categories to allow you to tailor the insight you provide to the team. This role is intended to support all areas of the Project Office and Business Intelligence department

Familiarity with Microsoft data management tools is key.
