Job summary

Mill Lodge CAMHS inpatient unit have an exciting opportunity to recruit two band 6 nurses to join our dynamic and progressive team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, flexible and able to demonstrate that they can work in a role which demands a high degree of knowledge and skill. Applicants should possess a drive and determination to achieve high quality care for young people and their families by working closely with the multidisciplinary team. They should be highly professional, trustworthy and reliable.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working with young people, be able to show initiative and work within a nursing team alongside a wider multidisciplinary team. The Senior Nurse role will involve overseeing the nursing care provided on the unit, supporting and developing junior staff through preceptorships, acting as a role model, liaising with partner organisations and families, working closely with other disciplines and undertaking specific duties under the direction of the Operational Manager/CTM. The successful candidate will be expected to NG feed, training will be provided.
