Job summary

We are excited to offer this post to expand our innovative psychologically led team working across sectors and services. By agreeing permanent service funding, West Yorkshire integrated care system has demonstrated a real commitment to the wellbeing of their staff. This service is at the forefront of delivering that care on a regional footprint.

Working as part of the West Yorkshire Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub, you will develop and deliver a range of mental health support to staff and volunteers across NHS, social care and third sector services. You will build networks and communities of practice to help embed and sustain the interventions.

In particular, the role will involve leading on two psychologically informed projects:

  • We currently hold one of only two "place based" licences to deliver Schwartz rounds across organisations. You will be key in bringing different leaders and organisations together to co-ordinate and run Schwartz rounds.
  • As a system we are building interventions to support teams and individuals following critical or potentially traumatic events. You will be key in consulting with and training teams as well as building a regional pathway.

Main duties of the job

Alongside team interventions and consultation, there will also be the opportunity to provide 1:1 therapy to staff seeking individual support.

The successful post holder will provide leadership and management to our team of assistant psychologists and wider psychological workforce and will work closely with the clinical leads for the service.

We are looking for individuals who are innovative with a passion for partnership working and strong foundations in trauma and compassionate leadership. Experience in Schwartz and critical incident is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
