Connect are the lead provider of specialist adult eating disorder services across West Yorkshire and one of the leading National eating disorder Provider Collaboratives.

The post holder must hold the Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Non-Medical Prescriber qualifications.
Main duties of the job
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) for Eating Disorders will provide direct clinical care to service users within the Adult Eating Disorder services, both in the community and in-patient setting, as a senior clinician within the service.
The ANP role and function will demonstrate the 4 pillars of Advance Clinical Practice:

- Evidence, research and development
The role will provide clinical leadership for the Nursing workforce within the service, working closely with fellow clinical, professional and operational leads, and will support the development of an effective MDT within their area of practice. The ANP will support the design and development of clinical pathways across the inpatient and community services, at an ICS level.
The ANP will take a lead on nursing assessment and treatment, ensuring that patients with highly complex needs are provided with high quality, evidenced based care and treatment. The role will improve the quality of and access to primary healthcare provision and strengthen professional leadership, supporting the development and practice of junior clinicians. The ANP will work closely together with the operational and clinical team managers to ensure the delivery of high quality, professional nursing practice across the service.
