Job summary

We have one full time post available to work in the Forensic Airlock/Reception based at The Newsam Centre in Leeds. The hours are 37.5 hours working shifts 06:30 - 14:30 or 13:00 - 21:00 on a roster of 5 out of 7 days per week.The post offers an exciting opportunity to join the support service team where you will be front of house as one of the first points of contact for people accessing our service.We are looking for a confident, friendly, enthusiastic and flexible individual who is able to deliver a customer focused service in an often-busy environment. The post holder will have the following attributes, excellent time keeping, good communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to cope with periods of high activity in a calm and efficient manner as a team member is essential, together with being capable of reporting and relaying messages accurately.

Main duties of the job

The job holder will work as part of a small team to provide an efficient and effective reception and administration service to the Forensic Service based at The Newsam Centre under the direction of the Security Advisor, and in line with the agreed job plan.
