We are looking for a talented individual to clinically lead our Forensic services and join our established Leadership Team. This role will be pivotal to leading, enhancing and developing high quality, safe, effective, reliable, person-centred care across our services through a psychologically safe, inclusive, co-produced and collective leadership culture.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with the Head of Operations, Head of Clinical Governance and our Clinical Director, you will be key in leading, delivering and supporting a journey of improvement across the whole of our Forensic Service. You will be responsible for ensuring robust governance and assurance systems and processes are embedded throughout the service and for promoting the principle that good governance is everybody's business and is essential for the delivery of high-quality care. You will strengthen and develop the evidence based, clinical pathways that the service provides, ensuring that there is a clear focus on co-production, service user and carer involvement and staff engagement and that this is at the heart of the service and its strategic development.

The Forensic Senior Leadership Team are actively involved in strategic developments within the West Yorkshire ICS and Humber Coast and Vale ICS.

Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirements included within the Job Description and Person Specification. This is especially relevant in the areas of recent experience and knowledge in leading at a senior leadership level and working clinically within secure care.
