Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive and innovative Information Officer to join our Performance and Informatics service.

Ideal candidates will have some experience of information analysis, an awareness of business intelligence tools used in performance reporting and the ability to work with others or individually, exercising their own initiative when needed.

The role will involve liaising with customers to gather requirements as well as managing a range of different duties day to day, so we are looking for someone with the skills to effectively organise and prioritise tasks, and who can communicate effectively with others.

Undergraduates with relevant experience who expect to graduate in the near future are encouraged to apply.

Main duties of the job

The role of the Information Officer is to support the Performance & Business Intelligence Team with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Trust's business intelligence tool.

The Information Officer is integral to the production of routine performance reporting. Involvement in the production and submission of routine national, statutory and contractual returns to commissioners and NHS England, alongside other Information Officers in the department, will form part of the role's regular duties.

An important aspect of the role will be the development of self-service BI content for use by a wide audience across the organisation, answering queries about the content available and providing training on its use as and

when needed.

The Information Officer will be based within the Performance & Business Intelligence Team, but will work alongside colleagues from the Reporting & Analytics Team, and liaise with colleagues in the wider Informatics service, and clinical services when required.
