Job summary

Following the award of a new contract to provide category management services to NHS Supply Chain and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join the Facilities and Office Solutions (FOS) Category Management Team with NoE CPC

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality commercial data which will be used to manage the performance of the Facilities and Office Solutions Category Management Service Provider and to enable the development of class leading commercial strategies. You will support key internal and external relationships and become an integral part of the team working together to achieve their objectives.

The post holder will maintain a comprehensive overview and understanding of the team's systems and technical strategy - they will actively be involved in the procurement and contract management activity. They will proactively manage the data support for the team, including the development and maintenance of spend, savings, service and performance data on behalf on the FOS team. The post holder will work closely with the procurement team to deliver savings to the NHS on a national basis. You will work with the procurement team to ensure compliance with operational policy and processes, maintenance of departmental governance and work plan.
