Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Performance Specialist to join a nationally renowned organisation providing procurement services to the NHS. As a member of the Business Support Team, you will be working within the Facilities and Office Solutions function of the NHS Supply Chain Operating Model, supporting customers and suppliers to make the best use of the services that NHS Supply Chain can offer across the Facilities and Office Solutions category.

This role provides an exciting and interesting opportunity to work alongside the Head of Performance and Governance to ensure we fulfil our responsibilities within the client contract and exceed expectations in the continuous development of rigorous governance and infrastructure of the Facilities and Office Solutions function.

Primarily the role will manage Business Performance by tracking and analysing client cyclical reports, identifying any anomalies, areas for improvement and issues requiring further investigation and debate. The Business Performance Specialist will interrogate a range of data to spot trends in performance related data and KPIs working closely with Data Analysts to spot opportunities for improvement and sharing with procurement and customer specialists.

Main duties of the job

The role also requires contribution, development, and management of a number of systems that ensures the smooth and efficient running of the Facilities and Office Solutions infrastructure. Ensuring our Director, procurement and customer engagement colleagues have the support and services they need to enable them to carry out their professional functions as efficiently as possible.

You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an eye for detail, and a passion to make a positive difference within our NHS. You will function as part of a wider team but will be comfortable working alone without direct supervision and confident in communicating with client colleagues and the Facilities and Office Solutions senior team. As Business Performance Specialist you will be required, occasionally, to deputise for the Head of Governance and Performance.

This is a great opportunity to work with a small, supportive, and dedicated team that has a desire to continuously improve the support function within Facilities and Office Solutions in a creative, efficient and modern way and this role will contribute significantly to making this happen.
