Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified practitioner to join our innovative, exciting and highly regarded offender personality disorder (OPD) service. The service works in partnership with criminal justice staff to help maximise their risk management and engagement with people in the criminal justice system that are identified as having difficulties consistent with a personality disorder diagnosis. The successful applicant will be working our IIRM (Integrated Intensive Risk Management) service providing collaborative psychological formulations, interventions and supervision with probation services and alongside other members of the team.
Main duties of the job
You will join a large team of psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists and Probation Practitioners working across the OPD pathway. The aim of the partnership is to promote a psychologically informed approach with this high risk, complex group. The job includes developing collaborative psychological formulations and intervention plans alongside other members of the team. Supervision of other members of the team and delivering interventions. The successful applicant will join a service which can provide a wealth of opportunities for innovation and professional development. We are looking for motivated and creative clinicians who have experience of working with complex, high risk populations.
