Job summary

The CONNECT West Yorkshire Adult Eating Disorders Service is looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to our expanding service across West Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and motivated professional with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills to deliver and shape the newly developed team that will be based within the CMHT in Bradford.

You will be part of a wider West Yorkshire regional team that is based in CMHTs across the Kirklees, Bradford, Calderdale, Leeds and Wakefield localities.

The team will be a secondary care service that forms part of the wider Connect service providing care and treatment in the community to adults with an eating disorder. You will have some experience of working with individuals with an eating disorder in order to provide advice and consultation for CMHTs whilst also working as a co-worker for a small caseload of service users.

The post holder must hold a Professional Healthcare registration. A car driver is essential to this post.

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to provide training, advice and support other healthcare providers across the area and promote close links with local mental health providers, including CMHTs. The duties of this post will be to sit within the CMHT's providing training, advice and support to the existing staff within these teams and other healthcare providers across the area, and to promote close links with local mental health providers.

You will be working within a team that consists of a Clinical Team Manager, 4 Specialist Practitioners, 3 Peer Support workers and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
