Job summary
To manage the deployment and on-going support & development of Electronic Document Management systems, applications and integrations for the Trust. To provide subject matter expertise in the management of supplier relationships from a technical perspective, ensuring that the systems and integrations are maintained correctly in order to deliver a reliable service. To manage the Electronic Document Management team and associated services provided by external suppliers on a day-to-day basis. To provide oversight for the Trust ensuring that Electronic Document Management systems' requirements are documented and understood.
The post-holder will investigate, manage, and resolve issues and problems by liaising with third-party system suppliers as necessary. The post-holder will assist in the development of specifications for any change requests for Electronic Document Management systems. The post holder will support strategic planning relating the current and future configuration of Electronic Documents Management applications and will engage in a variety of work streams. The post holder will also deliver training programmes for the application portfolio to ensure that business processes are optimised.
Main duties of the job
- Act as a 'Champion of Change' across the Trust using all methods of communication.
- Act as an ambassador for the service and systems both internally and externally.
- Maintain an expert knowledge of the Trust's digital systems and integrations.
- Promote new ways of working within team from ideas through to implementation and documentation.
- To maintain partnership working and supplier management of the key clinical systems vendors.
- Liaise closely with the Head of information Governance
- Liaise closely with the Medical Records Team
- Liaise closely with senior administration and mental health act staff
- Liaise closely with key Informatics staff to ensure congruency in developments, e.g. data warehouse and reporting.
- Facilitate workshops with key staff members on design solutions, beta testing and end user testing
The post holder will communicate with and work with a wide range of individuals within and outside of the Trust.
