Job summary
The Mental Health (MH) Project Manager will form part of the West Yorkshire (WY) Mental Health (MH), Learning Disability (LD) and Autism Programme Team, supporting the SRO and Programme Managers to deliver the priorities set out in the West Yorkshire Strategic Plan including older adults mental health, community mental health transformation and urgent and emergency mental health care.
Mental health is a key priority for the West Yorkshire Integrated Care System and the MHLDA Programme has a wide range of workstreams that are designed to address the ambitions set out in the NHS Long Term Plan. You will be at the forefront of designing improvement projects to deliver these ambitions.
The role will include project management and project delivery responsibilities including the scoping, design, implementation, delivery and management of projects derived from the strategic plan.
Main duties of the job
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Using project management methodology to develop robust project plans, track and report progress, identify and manage dependencies and identify and manage risks.
- Supporting staff, managers and stakeholders to identify and implement transformational opportunities.
- Ensuring initiatives are co-produced and designed with service users and their families/carers.
