Job summary

Fixed-term 12 month Communications Officer role at a nationally renowned organisation providing procurement services to the NHS. As a member of the Communications and Marketing Team, you will be working within the NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) supporting members, customers, and suppliers to make the best use of the contracts and services offered by our organisation across the NHS.

Working as part of the NOE CPC Communications and Marketing team, the Communications Officer provides comprehensive support to deliver the NOE CPC communications and engagement plans to meet NOE CPC's organisational objectives. This includes supporting staff, stakeholder and membership engagement through accurate and creative written, digital, and face-to-face communication.

Main duties of the job

This is a general post which covers supporting the team in a broad range of communications functions across multiple channels and platforms.

The postholder will work across multiple campaigns at the same time and will be required to use their own initiative, be proactive, diligent and act independently. The postholder will undertake the NOE CPC communications strategy, led by the Communications and Marketing Manager, with support from the wider team.

This fixed-term, 12-month role is a great opportunity for someone starting out within a communications function, with particular strengths in digital media, who is now looking for an opportunity to gain experience at the next level, building relationships within the NHS communications community.

Interviews may be held in Sheffield or remotely.
