Job summary

We are recruiting an experienced Nurse/Social Worker/OT into the role of Clinical Team Manager for the Crisis Assessment Unit.

A really exciting opportunity has arisen to provide leadership within the Crisis Assessment Unit, which is a 6 bedded unit at the Becklin Centre. Service users may be admitted to this unit for an extended assessment for up to 72 hours when in crisis with the support from the intensive support service. The role will include working closely with the intensive support service and also the Leeds OASIS which is a crisis house with 6 overnight rooms and 4 day spaces offering an informal alternative to hospital admission.

As Clinical Team Manager you will work in partnership with the Clinical Operations Manager and Senior Leadership Team. You will organise and lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing high quality care to service users of Leeds and York Partnerships Foundation Trust. As CTM you will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive targeted and user focused service through effective management, prioritisation and liaison with key stakeholders of the service.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic individual. The successful candidate will be able to manage competing demands, will have experience in management and supervision and willbe focused on delivering excellent patient focused care.

Main duties of the job

  • Ensure that all health care interventions are aimed at improving the experience of Service Users and their carers.
  • Organise and lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing a high quality care to service users of Leeds and York Partnerships Foundation Trust
  • Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive targeted and user focused service through effective management, prioritisation and liaison with key stakeholders of the service.
  • Work in close partnership with the Specialist Nurse Practitioner, on the investigation of clinical incidents, complaints and service reviews and inspections in accordance with Trust Policy.
  • Ensure all staff, project and budget management responsibilities are undertaken within Trust guidelines.
  • To be responsible for other areas of Performance Management including local and national targets
  • To contribute and manage the implementation of local systems and processes guidance
  • Act as a champion for the service, demonstrating a participative and supportive management style with a commitment to team working.
  • Manage and lead the operational functioning of the team, participating in an on-call system.
  • To be responsible for Health and Safety on the Unit
  • To be the lead for performance monitoring and attend the Site Meeting developing a close working relationship with PFI partners
