Job summary

The opportunity has arisen for a manager to lead and manage teams of staff who support people with learning disabilities to live in their own shared homes.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment and passion to support people to live their lives on their terms. Having working knowledge of facilitating person centred plans and person centred reviews, using person centred thinking tools to support people to make choices and decisions.

As a support manager you would be responsible and accountable for the running of two houses, supporting adults with a learning disability and complex health, Physical or behavioural issues.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of managing performance issues, financial management and the development of high performing teams within a sound value base, whilst ensuring the rights of the people we support are fully respected and that people are in control of their own lives.
