Job summary
Our Forensic Low Secure Service provides care for individuals with complex needs in a secure environment, based across two sites in Leeds and York.
We are looking to recruit a Matron/operational manager to work in our York based service (Clifton House). The provides operational management for the day the day running of the site, working closely with clinical leaders to ensure effective care delivery and governance.
As an experienced clinician, you will know what it takes to achieve high standards of care and service user experience; and as an experienced leader, you will know how to empower, motivate and get the best from your team to ensure these high standards are maintained.

Your well-developed communication skills, visibility and engaging presence on the ward, will mean that your team always feels supported, safe and understands what's required of them.

Main duties of the job
You will have responsibility for ensuring safe delivery of care within Clifton House, providing line management to the clinical team managers, chairing service meetings focussed on operational delivery and clinical governance.
The role of Matron/operational manager will ensure quality and compliance with key performance indicators and regulatory compliance, strive for improvement quality across our service and support clinicians in achieving outstanding care. You will offer support with complex clinical cases and support the delivery of effective clinical pathways.
You will also be a key influencer and leader within the forensic provider collaborative within Humber Coast and Vale, attending key system meetings and supporting the achievement of the provider collaborative aims.
