Job summary
The Dermatology Department is looking for a new enthusiastic member of the team who brings with them a proactive on hands approach to work within the department.
The post holder will carry out nursing interventions and treatments within the Dermatology Department including complex wound care, phototherapy, Nurse Led Minor operations and supporting with Admin Duties in the absence of the Department Sister or Medical Outpatient Ward Leader. The post holder must have demonstratable Dermatology experience and have an interest in wound care and treatment choices.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide specialist Dermatology advice and support to patients, relatives, carers, and other health care professionals. The post holder will deliver high quality patient focused care to Dermatology patients and their families. The post holder will carry out nursing duties in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and ensure all Professional Standards and Trust Policies are complied with.
The Dermatology Team

Providing clinical expertise to patients who attend the Dermatology Department.
Maintaining a clean safe environment for our patients to receive care in.
- Ensuring patients are involved in decisions around their care.
- Using patient/carers feedback to implement improvements that positively impact their care
