The Acute Care Unit Administration team
Contributes to the delivery of outstanding patient care by:
Maintaining a professional image.
Providing efficient administration support to the Care Unit.
Liaising with patients, outside agencies and other services / departments within the Trust in a professional manner.
Working effectively as a team using good communication and problem-solving skills.
Always maintaining confidentiality.
Main duties of the job
The role of Clinical Administration Officers (CAOs) provide a range of administrative support services to a group of consultant medical staff and/or other senior members of Division teams. They are expected to have advanced skills commensurate with their responsibilities. They will work substantially independently, providing support of the highest quality, and taking leadership in their professional areas.
