You will be covering maternity leave within the team for 1 year, working with our current team and our system partners to ensure our patients receive timely and expert musculoskeletal assessment and access appropriate pathway driven care. With your clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, together with your energy and commitment to our public service, you'll be able to make a huge difference. We're looking for a skilled physiotherapist, with experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, who is keen to work with our current team and system partners to develop services and deliver excellent musculoskeletal care.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the MSK Out-Patient Physiotherapy Team, you will support the Team Leads for MSK Out-patient Physiotherapy to develop and deliver the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service. Alongside other team members, you'll embody our proud to CARE values to contribute to a truly inclusive workplace. At the heart of this role is providing specialised MSK physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, including identifying appropriate treatment pathways for our patients. You will be working collaboratively with our current team, which includes APP, ESP and FCP clinicians, and our system partners, developing and implementing the plans, procedures, and governance to contribute to the system wide Musculoskeletal Service.   • Qualification in Physiotherapy at degree level.
  • HCPC registered
  • Post graduate experience working as a physiotherapist in both the Musculoskeletal outpatient and inpatient orthopaedics.
  • Experience of managing patients with complex needs within both the in-patient orthopaedic setting and out-patient musculoskeletal settings
  • Experience of working as a physiotherapist within GP/ primary care settings.
  • Developed specialist knowledge and clinical reasoning in the management of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Evidence of post registration CPD
  • Positive attitude to problem solving and change
  • Adaptable to the needs of the service
