Job summary

To provide a flexible and efficient 24 hour comprehensive reception service within the Emergency Department, this includes booking in walk in and ambulance patients. It is an ever changing environment which runs 7 days a week, 365 days of the year & you will be required to promote the smooth running of the Department by maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives, Multi-Disciplinary Team, other Divisions and external agencies.

  • Maintaining a professional front of house image
  • Providing efficient administrative support to the department maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Liaising with patients, outside organisations/services and other departments within the trust in a professional manner
