DSFS Ltd are looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Services Team as a Domestic Working Supervisor to provide a high-quality domestic service to the new Urgent & Emergency Care Department based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The rota will be based on 4 week basis which will include working some weekends and bank holidays, the shift times are as follows:-
16:00 - 20:00 = 14 hour average
07:00 - 16:30 = 31.5 hour average.

Main duties of the job
In your role as a working supervisor, you will work alongside PSA staff to help carry out cleaning duties throughout UECD you will provide direct supervision and organisation to a team of domestic staff. You will have overall responsibility to ensure yourself and the PSA staff are following schedules, guidelines and national cleaning standards whilst also being around to support and manage the workflow between all the busy UECD departments ensuring the team are always proactive.
Applicants should have experience & knowledge of supervising staff, meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for reliable individuals to pro-actively support the continued improvement of the Domestic service whilst working within a team or under own initiative.
Knowledge of Infection Prevention & Control, COSHH, Health & Safety and the NHS National cleaning standards would be an advantage.
You must be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and be able to actively seek solutions be resourceful and create a plan of action to share with your team to ensure we are responsive to the needs of the service.
