Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a RSCN/RGN to join our professional and caring Neonatal team. You must be committed to the very best care practices that support both patients and parents.You will hold RN Child (Paediatric), RGN/RN (Adult), and be QIS experienced. You will have good communication skills together with an awareness of current neonatal issues.
As a member of our professional team you will work flexibly and have evidence of on-going professional development.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based nursing care to neonatal patients and their families.
Actively promote and contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of nursing care.
To work under the supervision of a nurse qualified in neonatal speciality until attending the qualification themselves.
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills. Whilst this role is initially based in Chesterfield there may be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community which we may talk to you about in the future
