Job summary
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Partner to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd team to deliver high quality value for money procurement services on behalf of Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. You will need to demonstrate strong team working skills; have extensive experience of working in a Procurement environment, ideally in the Public Sector, and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
This post will play a key role in ensuring the procurement of the right goods at the right price delivered to the right place at the right time. This post will support senior staff to analyse and evaluate procurement data; tender and award contracts in line with local policies and relevant legislation; improve supplier performance, implement specific electronic catalogues, and continuously improve the service for clients.

Main duties of the job
- The primary aspect of the role is to represent the purchasing function as a progressive, proactive, responsive and innovative Procurement partner in order to generate, manage and deliver innovative procurement projects and solutions
- Work closely with client stakeholders to influence choice; prioritise change and to deliver savings, process improvements and product standardisation to drive costs down and to drive quality, efficiency and service excellence up.
- To drive and deliver in conjunction with client stakeholders and teams, the Procurement approach to ongoing cost improvement programs on a forward plan basis which is robustly and transparently tracked and transacted.
