Job summary
Derbyshire Support & Facilities Services Ltd is seeking an experienced digital professional to undertake the role of Head of ICT & Digital Services.
Preferably you will have knowledge of the NHS and working within a busy hospital environment, but it's more important that you are able to demonstrate a track record of delivering operational and strategic results in a fast paced and complex technology and business focussed organisation.
The role will provide senior managerial and leadership support to the Director of ICT & Infrastructure, by overseeing the DSFS ICT & Digital Service day-to-day and playing a key role in the formulation of the ICT & Digital and Information Governance Strategies, ensuring innovation, high quality standards, and cost effectiveness.

Main duties of the job
To deliver and maintain the performance of the ICT & Digital Service to meet the needs of a modern, digitally supported healthcare organisation.
To be responsible for ensuring the ICT & Digital Service delivery is compliant with all relevant legislation and guidelines (e.g. Data Security Protection Toolkit).
To deputise for the Director of ICT & Infrastructure, as required.

- Educated to master's degree level or equivalent experience (preferably in a Computing/IT or Health related discipline)
- Evidence of continuous professional developmen
Desirable
- Currently a PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent evidence of experience
- Service Management qualification (e.g. ITIL foundation)
- Risk Management qualification (e.g. MoR foundation)
- BCS Membership at a professional grade

- 5-10 Year Senior Management experience in an ICT discipline
- Significant Experience of and a demonstrable track record of high-quality people leadership and management

- Experience of managing Project Managers and multiple projects concurrently
