Job summary
We have an opportunity at the Trust for F3 level doctors to gain broad based experience in an 8 Month, mixed sub-specialty rotation of 2 x four-month posts from December 2023.
The combination is made up of the following specialties: Emergency Medicine and Anaesthetics.
This rotation will suit training level medics who would like to gain wider experience of the NHS, in several clinical areas, which will help consolidate their knowledge, skills and confidence prior to moving on to the next steps of their career.
Some aspects of the role can be bespoke to the individual needs of the post-holder and tailored to take into account previous relevant experience, or achievement of requirements for application to specialty training.
Out of hours duties will be in accordance with the rotas in operation in each of the designated clinical areas.
There will be the opportunity to participate in teaching, audit, guideline development and service improvement projects.
A clinical supervisor will be allocated and will provide support for the duration of the placement.
