Clinical Imaging Assistant

Part Time hours per week (18.75hrs) working 8.30am-4.30pm Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday

SALARY RANGE: BAND 3

We have a part-time vacancy for a Clinical Imaging Assistant based at Buxton Hospital . You will be employed by Chesterfield Royal Hospital but permanently based at Buxton Cottage Hospital.

We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a small team at the X-Ray and Ultrasound Department at Buxton Cottage Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of this post will be assisting the Imaging clinical team with patients (including chaperoning of ultrasound patients as required), reception and any other general clinical/clerical duties to include answering the phone and making patient appointments. Typing skills would be an advantage.

You must be able to work under pressure, prioritise your workload and maintain confidentiality at all times.
