Job summary

If you have transferrable skills, we want to hear from you! We're a successful Trust with a strong commitment to delivering the highest standards of clinical quality, patient care and staff experience. The key to our success is simple: our people. Their experience, knowledge, passion and ideas are our greatest resource. We work in partnership with children and their families to maximise a child's physical abilities and independence. Your job, alongside your team colleagues, will be to deliver an excellent paediatric musculoskeletal outpatient and orthopaedic inpatient physiotherapy service. We're looking for a skilled physiotherapist, with experience of delivering physiotherapy to patients with complex needs in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the MSK outpatient physiotherapy team, you will support the Lead Senior Physiotherapist for Paediatric MSK / Orthopaedics and Team Leads for MSK Out-patient Physiotherapy, to develop & deliver the paediatric MSK physiotherapy service. There will also be some responsibility for providing paediatric inpatient orthopaedic care. Alongside other team members, you'll embody our proud to CARE values to contribute to a truly inclusive workplace. At the heart of this role is providing specialised paediatric MSK & orthopaedic physiotherapy assessment, treatment & rehabilitation, including identifying appropriate treatment pathways for children and young people aged 0-18 years. You will work collaboratively with our current team, paediatric orthopaedic consultant, paediatricians & colleagues in the children's and adult therapy service, to develop and implement the plans, procedures and governance to contribute to the system wide MSK service. We're not shy about celebrating our people at the Trust and taking them with us on our collaborative, system working journey. We want you to contribute to developing the paediatric MSK physiotherapy service at our Trust. Here's a message from Jennifer Harris, our Lead Physio in Paediatric MSK / Orthopaedics: "if you are a compassionate and enthusiastic physiotherapist who is keen to use their knowledge and expertise to help children, young people and their families reach their potential, we would love to welcome you to our team"
