Job summary

The post holder works as part of a nursing team responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care for all patients attending the Imaging Department. The post holder co-ordinates the Imaging Assistants and Housekeepers within the team. The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures and supervise qualified or unqualified staff.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a consistent high quality of care always.
  • To deliver safe practice following both national and Trust policies.
  • To act in line with the Trust's CARE and Together as One policies.
  • To maintain confidentiality relating to patients and the Trust at all times.
  • To take responsibility for own personal development, actively participating in the Staff Appraisal Review Process.
