Job summary

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Operations to join a growing establishment committed to being a flagship organisation and an at scale provider of primary care services in the Midlands. We have a team of 171 people dedicated to our patients, working across 3 sectors covering Chesterfield, Clay Cross and Heanor. You need to be passionate about our patients and our people too, aspiring them to excellence through the provision of strong leadership to deliver success. You will be integral to the senior management team, converting concepts into plans and delivering our non-clinical primary care services.

Main duties of the job

You will have responsibility for the operational delivery of non-clinical primary care services including the development of efficient and effective systems and processes, contributing to our medium to long-term strategic plans. You will be the go-to-person for all operational issues, thriving on the challenge of identifying falling standards and taking corrective action to achieve national and contractual targets.

This is an essential and important senior leadership role. You will work with an extensive range of stakeholders, including commissioners and other providers.
